OUR MISSION

New Beginnings Bible Church exists to glorify God by making, maturing and multiplying His people. (Matthew 28:19-20)

WORSHIP. WALK. WORK.

The path of authentic discipleship is a lifetime of following Jesus Christ more consistently and closely.

Growing disciples go through a continual process called sanctification, which simply means becoming more and more like our Lord. We like to describe that as worshiping, walking, and working for Christ. And when we become intentional about seeking to honor God in these three ways, we can’t help but become “mature in Christ” (Colossians 1:28), growing deeper in our relationship with God and our relationships with others.

Disciple-making is to be worked out together in ministry to one another. We believe it’s not about one or a small number of pastors bearing the total responsibility to care for the entire congregation. Rather it’s about all disciples using their God-given spiritual gifts to provide mutual ministry to build each other up, all in the context of a vibrant and strong local church (Ephesians 4:11-12).

Our primary means to develop our gifts, and to minister to one another is through Small Groups. Everyone who calls New Beginnings their church home is strongly encouraged to take part in a Small Group where the Scriptures are opened, lives are shared and prayer is upheld.

OUR 5 PILLARS

Proclaiming the authority of God’s Word without apology

“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.” 2 Timothy 4:2

Lifting high the name of Jesus through worship

“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24

Believing firmly in the power of prayer

“Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18

Sharing the good news of Jesus with boldness

“And also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.” Ephesians 6:19-20

Pursuing Christ-likeness together in sincere communities – small groups.

“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” Ephesians 4:15-16
