When we talk about missions, we are talking about our efforts, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus’ great commission in Matthew 28:29–30:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Jesus gave a similar commission to his disciples in Acts 1:8, shortly before he ascended to sit down at the Father’s right hand:
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Christ’s mandate for his church sets the agenda for what we are to be doing as the church, both at home and abroad. To this end, we strive to make missions our utmost priority.

Missions is a huge part of New Beginnings. Through it, we support other ministries outside of our local church body, as close as our own communities, and as far as halfway around the world. We intentionally support missionaries and ministries who exist to spread the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ, and who contribute to that by exalting the name of Christ through works of mercy and compassion.

All ministries listed on this page are supported by New Beginnings in whatever way we can–through prayer, giving, and volunteer support, when possible.

Monthly Supported Ministries

Missionaries and ministries that New Beginnings supports financially on a monthly basis.

Habib Ditta

Originally from Pakistan, Habib is the pastor of Bethesda International Church in Orangeburg, New York. Since 1996, he has been making annual trips to Punjab, Pakistan, in order to preach the gospel, plant churches, appoint leaders, provide moral guidance, and give strategic ministry planning. Through his ministry, the Lord has converted many hearts, and has planted churches in the cities of Peshawar, Burewala, and Faisalabad, and in the smaller villages of Chak 366 and Chak 26.

Caleb and Melissa Gibello

Gibello FamilyIt is an amazingly sad fact that, today in the twenty-first century, there still remain people in the world that have never heard the gospel of Christ, and who don’t only not have Bibles, but don’t even have Bibles that exist in their own languages! Many of these groups reside in the Oceanian country of Papua New Guinea. Caleb and Melissa have an awesome family mission: To preach the gospel and plant local churches among these unevangelized people groups and villages of Papua New Guinea. They have been serving on the field since 2016. You can visit their website to check out more about their ministry at papuanewguineamissions.org.

Jeremy and Susie Bullard

After serving in Jordan and in North Africa, Jeremy joined the faculty at Tyndale, where he teaches Old Testament.

Missionaries to Closed Countries

kaabaNew Beginnings also supports missionaries in countries that are typically considered closed to the gospel. For security reasons, we do not share any more information about these ministries. Please pray for these beloved brothers and sisters, that the name of Christ would be glorified, even in the dark corners of the globe.
